What I've Done
Well, what do you know? I have finished my study in college yet my life is still uncertain. Everything is blurred and guidance is at scarce. I am not sure what path will I take and what career will I pursue. The only thing I know is that I need to find a job, and I have to do it quick.
Recently, I've been job hunting, looking for the job that fits my acquired skills and abilities. I seek for BPO's, the largest and fastest industry in the Philippines today, but it seems that I still have a lot to learn to fit in. I have tried every single opportunity to find myself something to do. I pass resumes online, I tried to contact my colleagues for any job openings, and I have walked into many job hiring.
Luckily, somebody asked me to do photo editing and encoding. It's better than doing nothing, so I grabbed it. I've always enjoyed exploring Photoshop, so I enjoy the work. Though I'm happy with the stuff, I look for other works to be done. I felt that I still have to go outside my range and look for a greener pasture. However, I am not talking about Filipino Diaspora or any sort of dispersion of population, though it is also an option. So I try my luck here at Eastwood, and found myself applying in OTD. That is the main reason why I'm spending sometime writing this blog, as it is part of the examination.
What I've done recently is a way of molding my future, I think. Because as I see it, taking one step at a time will soon bring me to the goal I have stated. My plan to succeed doesn't depend on anybody's work, but from my own efforts. That is why I am grabbing every opportunity, and I'm not giving up.
